Department of Budget, Monitoring, Expenditure Clearance and Payment Orders
The Department of Budget, Monitoring, Expenditure Clearance and Payment Orders is especially responsible for:
a) The IEP budget preparation and any necessary modifications on it, in collaboration with the Department of Projects and Actions, regarding the projects and actions implemented by IEP with the responsibility and under the supervision of the Deputy Director.
(b) monitoring the budget- regular budget or not- implementation concerning every project/action on the basis of funding and costs incurred, drafting of the grant reports and the submission of funding requests to the Management Authority. Furthermore, it especially ensures that the costs of the projects/actions, regular budget or not, and their banking balances are recorded and monitored plus the audit of the required supporting documents and documents of each expense are gathered by the responsible managers in the context of projects/actions implementation, regular budget or not.
(c) the clearance and orders of payments of all kinds of expenditure of IEP. It also examines the legality, regularity and eligibility of expenditure along with the issuance of cash orders. In particular, it is in charge of processing payroll information and computing pay and reimbursement entitlements, the submission of the analytical periodical statement (A.P.S) and other statements to social security establishments, presenting financial data to various organizations and institutions, the issuance of payment orders as well as the maintenance of designated records within the scope of the Institute.
