of Special and Inclusive Education"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Our vision<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>One School for\u00a0<strong>all children<\/strong>\u00a0with an inclusive culture and a learning environment differentiated for special educational needs, as reflected in the video-message of the European Body for Special and Inclusive Education.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Our aim<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The constant elaboration of programs, special methods and practices as well as the educational material in order to safeguard<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the right<\/strong> to education for every child that faces difficulties and hindrances at any stage of his\/her school life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>differentiation<\/strong> of didactic methodology and educational culture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>interdisciplinarity<\/strong> regarding the support of individual needs and the interoperability of services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pupil inclusion by means of a multilingual and multicultural material<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>inclusive culture along with <strong>cultural and multilingual learning<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the support for teachers, in particular\u00a0<strong>teachers with disabilities<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The work of the Unit for Inclusive and Special Education is to analyse and promote:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pedagogy and didactics of school and pupil <strong>inclusion<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>methodology for the inclusion of children with a different linguistic, learning, cultural and social background<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>principles, tools and procedures for the <strong>individualization<\/strong> and <strong>differentiation<\/strong> of teaching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>study programs\/curricula<\/strong> and the weekly schedule of Special Education School Units<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>educational planning of <strong>early<\/strong> and timely intervention for disability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>educational and didactic planning for the <strong>reception<\/strong> and inclusion of newcomer pupils<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>methodology of transition and promotion of vulnerable children<strong> learner readiness<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>observation and incorporation of international and European tools in order to implement the Children\u2019s Rights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>educational acts for the elimination of <strong>discrimination<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>necessary educational measures in order to prevent any type of school failure and <strong>school dropout of children with disabilities<\/strong> and other special educational needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>methods and tools to improve the <strong>accessibility<\/strong> of study programs <strong>for all learning styles<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>methodology and tools for educational <strong>system support agencies<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>accessibility of the <strong>IEP training material and publications<\/strong> for teachers with disabilities and print disability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>transitions and
