Professional Profile

She is a teacher, working in Greek private and public secondary education for over 20 years.

She worked at the Greek public secondary school of Wuppertal, Germany from 2013 until 2016.

She worked on secondment to the central service of the Ministry of Education in 2006-7.

She is currently attached to the Institute of Educational Policy in the Humanities and Literature Scientific unit as well as in the Library, Archives and Publications Office.

Publications and Projects

Her research interests focus on the didactics of ancient and modern Greek language and literature.

She has attended training programs and seminars on the application of digital technologies in the teaching practice, on class management, on school (peer) mediation, on teaching modern Greek as a second language, on the implementation of drama techniques in education, on pedagogical and educational planning etc. She has co-written an educational book (Sophocles Antigone, EOSK, 2003) and she has translated academic texts from English.
